Hike to Yellow River
March 1, 2008

March 1, 2008, the second annual Hike to Yellow River was attended by 14 eager hikers who enjoyed beautiful weather for a day of tranquillity in the beautiful woods and swamp on the west side of Highway 85 on the Eglin reservation.  The hikers chose the mileage they wanted to hike with an option of a 3 mile, 6 mile, or 8 mile hike.  When the day ended, nine hikers had traversed from the civilized to the untamed.
