Bright and early on June 16 a group of  hardy hikers hiked the 15 miles starting at Yellow River  bridge on Hwy 87 and ending at East River bridge on Hwy 87. In attendance were; Christine Hale, the Activity leader, Paul and Wallis Mayo, Shari Scudder, Inge Ackerman, Bob and Jay Browder, Billy Hay, Jennifer Smith and Kim Bolling.  The group took a few breaks along the way and had lunch at the Weaver River Steephead where they relaxed and cooled off. In the afternoon when they came across Dean Creek, they couldn't pass up the opportunity to cool off in it's waters.
